<h2 id="isPasted">Accessible Performances</h2><p>The Riverfront Theatre offer a variety of BSL-interpreted, audio-described and relaxed performances throughout the year.</p><p><br></p><h2 id="hynt-access-scheme">Hynt Access Scheme</h2><p>Hynt is a national access scheme partnering with theatres and arts centres across Wales.</p><p>As part of the Hynt network, the venue provides cardholders with a free ticket for their companion, carer, or personal assistant.&#xA0;</p><p>If you have a Hynt card please call their team on 01633 656757 and they will be able to book you a HYNT ticket.</p><p><a href="https://www.wmc.org.uk/en/your-visit/access/access-scheme">Find out more about Hynt here</a></p><p><br></p><h2 id="wheelchair-spaces">Wheelchair Spaces</h2><p>All performance spaces are wheelchair accessible.</p><p>The Riverfront Theatre has nine wheelchair spaces in the main theatre - these can be found in the stalls in row K, N and on the balcony in row NN.</p><p>There are eleven wheelchair spaces in the studio theatre in the front and the back.</p><p><br></p><h2 id="access-toilets-and-lifts">Access, Toilets and Lifts</h2><p>There is ramp access to both the front and rear doors at The Riverfront.&#xA0;</p><p>Lift access, wheelchair access and toilet facilities are available on all levels except for the Basement space.&#xA0;</p><p><br></p><h2 id="blue-badge-parking">Blue Badge Parking</h2><p>You can drop off and pick up immediately outside the entrance by coming up to the barriers at the castle end of the building, press the buzzer and you will be let in.</p><p>There are accessible parking spaces for blue badge holders at all times. Unfortunately, these spaces cannot be reserved, and are on a first come, first served basis.</p><p><br></p><h2 id="assistance-dogs">Assistance Dogs</h2><p>Assistance dogs are welcomed and can be cared for during performances by arrangement.</p><p><br></p><h2 id="medical-assistance">Medical Assistance</h2><p>Many of the venue staff are first-aid trained. If you need assistance, please inform any staff member, and they will contact the appropriate person for help.</p><p><br></p><h2 id="sound-enhancement-assistance">Sound Enhancement Assistance</h2><p>The Mobile Connect App supports our deaf or hard of hearing customers. This can be downloaded via the App Store in advance. Please arrive in plenty of time for the team to assist with setting up. You can explore getting to Newport from where you live using <a href="https://www.thetrainline.com/" style=" text-decoration: none;">The Train Line</a>.</p><h3 id="by-road-from-m4"><strong>By Ro</strong><strong>ad From M4</strong>&#xA0;</h3><p>(Junction 26) follow the signs to the city centre along Malpas Road (A4051), under the flyover and along Kingsway. The Riverfront is on your left-hand side. Just after the building there is a left-hand turn into a small outside car park adjacent to the Alacrity building and gated private car park.</p><p>It is possible to drop off and collect immediately outside the building, by pressing the buzzer at the entrance barrier at the castle side of the building. In order to access this barrier entrance, you need to go over the roundabout and come down and stay in the left-hand lane.</p><p><strong>Parking</strong></p><p>There is no theatre car park. However, there is a pay and display car park just past the theatre. There is also parking at Friars Walk and Kingsway Centre.<br id="isPasted"><br>There are two disabled parking bays at the side of the building. These cannot be pre-booked, and please note that blue badges must be clearly visible at all times.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
