The Riverfront Theatre and Arts Centre is situated opposite the main bus station and the Friars Walk shopping centre and a 10-minute walk from Newport train station.

Bus

All Newport Bus routes are well located for The Riverfront as it is based opposite the bus station. Use the Newport Bus website to explore times.

Train

A range of train services stop at Newport train station. You can explore getting to Newport from where you live using The Train Line.

By Road From M4 

(Junction 26) follow the signs to the city centre along Malpas Road (A4051), under the flyover and along Kingsway. The Riverfront is on your left-hand side. Just after the building there is a left-hand turn into a small outside car park adjacent to the Alacrity building and gated private car park.

It is possible to drop off and collect immediately outside the building, by pressing the buzzer at the entrance barrier at the castle side of the building. In order to access this barrier entrance, you need to go over the roundabout and come down and stay in the left-hand lane.

Parking

There is no theatre car park. However, there is a pay and display car park just past the theatre. There is also parking at Friars Walk and Kingsway Centre.

There are two disabled parking bays at the side of the building. These cannot be pre-booked, and please note that blue badges must be clearly visible at all times.
