Is there parking nearby? (The Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury)

There are several car parks within a 5-10 minute walk at buggy pace of the theatre. The nearest car park is on Pound Lane and costs £5.10 for up to 3 hours (the postcode CT1 2BZ should get you close). There is also a large car park on St Radigunds Street (postcode CT1 2AA) which also costs £5.10 for up to 3 hours.

If you are attending a daytime performance, you could also consider using the Park and Ride scheme which terminates at Canterbury Bus Station, a 10-15 minute walk from the theatre at buggy pace. For more information please visit the Canterbury City Council website.

Canterbury City Council has installed bollards on The Friars, on the approach to the theatre, to improve security in the city centre. This means that there is no automatic vehicle access to our theatre for customers.

If you are a Blue Badge holder who cannot use nearby car parks and you need access to our site, you need to contact our Box Office team at least one day in advance of your booking on 01227 787787 by emailing boxoffice@marlowetheatre.com.

Whilst there is no parking available on-site, we offer a limited number of parking spaces for customers who are Blue Badge holders. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
