The Sovereign Shopping Centre’s eight hundred and ten space multi-storey car park is conveniently situated above the shopping mall. It has dedicated parking spaces for the disabled and for parents with young children and is ideally located just off the sea front opposite the Grand Pier.

Note: – pedestrian access to the car park when the shopping mall is closed is via the footpaths to the vehicular entry or exit ramps. If necessary a lift is available in Wellington Place off Regent Street.
Note: – closing times may differ to those advertised to accommodate events at nearby venues including the Winter Gardens Pavilion, Grand Pier and the Playhouse. Please check with the event venue before parking.

Early Bird parking tariff for those working or commuting to the town centre.
Note: – terms and conditions apply as follows:
- Only applies to vehicles parking before 9.00am and leaving before 6.00pm on the same day.
- Vehicles parking after 9.00am then the normal tariffs will apply throughout the duration of the stay.
Drivers should allow sufficient time whilst entering and exiting the car park during busy times.
Overnight Parking
Maximum Tariff of £5.00
Overnight Parking Tariff for those staying in nearby hotels and guest houses.
Note: – terms and conditions apply as follows:
- Only applies to vehicles parking after 5.00pm and leaving before 10.00am the following morning.
- Vehicles parking before 5.00pm then the normal tariffs will apply throughout the duration of the stay.
- No access to vehicles when the car park is closed – see Car Park Opening Times.
Please ensure your vehicle is parked in the dedicated ‘Overnight Parking’ area on Level One.
Lost Parking Tokens
Lost parking tokens are charged at the full daily rate. If you subsequently find the token, return it to us and will will refund the fee paid.

All pay stations accept coins, notes (change given where applicable) and most major debit and credit cards via ‘Chip & Pin’.
