Reaching Echo Arena Liverpool by rail couldn’t be easier with extensive national, regional and local connections, Liverpool Lime Street is the heart of the city’s rail network. Once you arrive, a short bus or taxi journey will bring you direct to Echo Arena…
Virgin Trains operates hourly, direct services from London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street, taking just over two hours. Other national, regional and local rail services also operate into Liverpool Lime Street station.
Echo Arena is a 20-minute walk from Lime Street or a short taxi ride. Alternatively, you can change at Lime Street onto the underground Wirral Line trains, travelling into to James Street station, which is a 10-minute walk away. If you’re travelling from outside Merseyside, you can catch an underground train to James Street station from Lime Street station, inclusive of the cost of your ticket. The CityLink bus service also runs a circular route around the city and stops at both Liverpool Lime Street and Echo Arena.

By Bus
Just five minutes’ walk from the bustling bus station at Liverpool ONE and conveniently situated for visitors travelling into Liverpool’s Queen Square bus station, Echo Arena Liverpool is simple to reach by bus and coach. We even offer drop-off areas and dedicated coach parking adjacent to the King’s Dock site.

Walk or Cycle
Cycling or walking to Echo Arena Liverpool is a safe and enjoyable experience. Why not make your way to your chosen event via the city’s pedestrian plazas and waterfront boulevards.
Cycle parking is located in the Liverpool Waterfront Car Park.
A number of cycle routes enable cyclists to easily get around Liverpool and visit Echo Arena by bicycle. You can find out more about the routes available from Liverpool City Council’s website. You can take your bike for free on ferries and trains in Merseyside, though remember it's busy in peak hours. Most stations have free, secure cycle storage too. Echo Arena has its own secure cycle parking.
Citybike, run by Liverpool City Council is the largest public bicycle scheme outside of London, launched in May 2014 and is set to offer over 100 stations within the first twelve months. Tariff packages available from £3 per day, stations are available at Lime Street as well as across the city centre and waterfront areas.
Walking in Liverpool city centre is an enjoyable experience, not least because it’s the best way to experience the life, architecture and friendly nature of its people. Pedestrianised areas around Liverpool ONE link to the wide Waterfront boulevard, the docks and Echo Arena.
By Air
With a wide range of affordable flights to domestic, European and International destinations available from two international airports - Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Manchester Airport, just 45 minutes away, nowhere is out of reach for Echo Arena Liverpool.
Liverpool John Lennon Airport (JLA) is one of the UK’s top 10 busiest airports. It features flights to approximately 75 destinations in the UK and across Europe.
Airlines at JLA include two of Europe’s largest low cost airlines, easyJet and Ryanair, both of whom have large bases at JLA. A taxi from the airport to the city centre will take approximately 20 minutes or the express bus service Route 500 will take approximately 25 minutes, dropping you off within a five minute walk of Echo Arena.
Just 45 minutes’ away via the motorway network, Manchester Airport has an even more extensive network of flights, with long haul destinations including America and the Far East served with direct flights.
