Wheelchair seating
There is lift access to the balcony seating area with steps leading up to the balcony at Mansfield Palace Theatre, but unfortunately there are no wheelchair spaces in that area.
Audience members are more than welcome to transfer from a wheelchair to a seat on arrival. Audience members do however need to ensure that they are able to exit the auditorium safely without a wheelchair in the unlikely event of an emergency.
To book a wheelchair space, please contact the venue directly on: 01623 463133 where the Box Office staff will be able to assist you.
Mobility scooters
Unfortunately, in most instances because of their size, the theatre cannot provide access for mobility scooters to the auditorium. For those wishing to travel to the theatre in a mobility scooter, there is some limited space in the foyer and Groucho’s Bar to park them during the performance. The theatres Box Office staff are available to discuss any specific requirements you might need in order to facilitate your visit to the theatre to ensure you are as comfortable as possible!
Hearing loops
Induction loops are fitted in the Box Office, Stalls, Dress Circle and Upstairs Lounge areas for those using a T position hearing aid.
Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome and drinking water can be provided – the Box Office staff have requested that they are notified when booking tickets but please contact the office on 01623 633133 if you have any questions or if there is anything they can help you with.
