Parking
There are two reserved parking spaces for Blue Badge holders at the side of The Capitol and these are first come, first served. There are additional Blue Badge bays in Park House car park and these are a short distance from The Capitol.
Getting Around
There is level access to the ground floor of The Capitol building via a ramp from street level. The Foyer, theatre stalls, bar and Screen 2 cinema can be accessed from this level.
There is a lift to the first floor with level access to the Gallery, Screen 1 and Studio venues. This lift also provides level access to the rear of Theatre Stalls, however access to the Theatre Circle is via stairs only. For advice on booking the best seats, please contact our Box Office who will be happy to assist.
Toilet Facilities
There are accessible and adapted toilets on the ground and first floor.
Hearing Impaired
Sound enhancement systems are available in the theatre, cinema and Studio. The best quality of sound is through our infra red headsets which are available to borrow free from the box office. If you prefer to use the T switch on your hearing aid, you will need to borrow an induction loop aerial, also available from the box office, which is worn around the neck.
Visually Impaired
Assistance Dogs are welcome in all areas of the building. Please talk to the box office about any special requirements when booking. An audio copy of our latest What's On brochure can be heard/downloaded here. The audio file can be provided via email or on a CD from our Box Office on request.
Auditoria
There are a limited number of wheelchair spaces available in each venue, please notify the ticket office when booking.
Our staff can bring refreshments to you in the interval – please ask a member of our Front of House staff for this service.
