BY TRAIN
Queen's Hall is a five minute walk from Hexham Train Station.
On leaving the station, cross the road at the pedestrian crossing and turn left. After a few yards turn right through some metal bollards and head up the pedestrian path (Orchard Road) which borders the playing fields. Cross the road ahead and carry on up the pedestrian path (which turns into Hall Bank and then Hallgate.) One you reach the flat, carry on and cut through an archway (the Edinburgh Woollen Shop is on your left) and you will come out into the Market Place. With the Abbey to your right, walk up the main road (Beaumont Street) on the left hand side and Queen's Hall is opposite the main park gates.
This walk is up a slight incline and may not be suitable for elderly or infirm people.
