Venue Access Information (Hertford Theatre)

Access for All

Hertford Theatre has no disabled parking. Disabled patrons may be dropped off and picked up outside the theatre. The nearest disabled parking spaces are located in St Andrews Street car park.

The Auditorium can accommodate a limited number of wheelchairs for seated events. Please inform the box office when booking your tickets if you or any of your party will be attending in a wheelchair.

A hearing aid loop system is installed in the auditorium for the hard of hearing.
 

Audio Description
Unless otherwise stated, all films will have Audio Description, which enables people with visual impairment to enjoy the cinema.
Please ask our Box Office for a headset. We have limited availability of headsets and operate on a first come, first served basis.
There is no Audio Description on Soft Subtitled Films.

Soft Subtitled Films
Soft Subtitling provides much more informationn than "normal" English subtitles and is especially useful for those with hearing impairments. Subtitled Films will not have Audio Description.

Relaxed Screenings
Specially designed for children with SEN and Autism, families can enjoy a film without extra stimuli such as queuing, adverts and Front of House annoucements. The lighting will be dimmed and the sound reduced.
If you need a break from the film, there will be a chill-out space available.
