Accessible Performances
Captioned Performances
Similar to subtitles in films, captioning converts the spoken word and sound effects in a performance into text which appears on a screen on stage as it is happening.
Further captioned performances will be announced with the autumn season.
Audio Described Performances
Suitable for those who are blind or visually impaired, audio description gives you live commentary on the action happening on stage through a pair of headphones.
Further audio described performances will be announced with the autumn season.
Touch Tours
Touch Tours offer a guided chance to explore the set through touch and feel, available before Audio Described performances by request. Please contact Box Office for more information.
Further touch tours will be announced with the autumn season.
British Sign Language performances
Spoken English is translated into British Sign Language by an on stage interpreter.
Relaxed Performances
These performances are adjusted to allow a more relaxed, informal audience experience.
Changes will be made to the sound and lighting to soften their impact and eliminate surprise. These performances are not bookable online, please call the Box Office on 01284 769505.
