We’d like your visit to the Exeter Northcott Theatre to be as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. If you require any assistance please inform the Box Office on 01392 72 63 63 in advance of your visit. Though not essential, you are advised to book in advance so that we can readily provide any assistance. There is level access to the theatre via our front entrance on Stocker Road and via our rear entrance on The Queen’s Drive. The upper levels of the theatre and the auditorium are accessed by a lift.

Please note that Wheelchair seats can only be booked in person or via telephone, and cannot be booked online.  This is because we have to manage the allocation of these seats to ensure that they are fairly allocated to Wheelchair users and their companions.
Disabled patrons may also bring a companion FREE of charge.

The main auditorium has 6 wheelchair spaces on Row G.

Toilets

There is level access from Row G to an accessible toilet.

Parking

There are 4 parking spaces for blue badge holders on The Queens Drive, to the rear of the theatre, 10 spaces in Car Park C and 5 spaces at Northcote House. Download a parking and access map here.

Assisted Hearing Facilities

We have an enhanced hearing system that improves the experience for hearing-impaired theatregoers by transmitting enhanced audio to visitor’s hearing aids, or specially provided headphones. Equipment for both must be collected from the stewards’ counter prior to the show.

Guide / Hearing Dogs are always welcome

If you wish to take your dog into the performance, please let us know when booking your ticket so that we can arrange an adjacent seat. Alternatively, dogs can be cared for by a member of staff.

Sign Language Interpreted Performances

Sign Language Interpreted performances are advertised on event pages. During these performances a British Sign Language Interpreter will be positioned on the stage. Specific seats with a clear view of the signer are reserved in the main house auditorium and should be requested when booking.
