Access Information
Access Scheme
Cadogan Hall’s Access Scheme is for people with physical, sensory or cognitive disabilities. By joining this free scheme you can keep up to date on offers and information about forthcoming events at Cadogan Hall.
If you are in receipt of disability-related state benefits, as a member of our Access Scheme you may be entitled to concessionary ticket prices for some events, or a free companion seat. All companion tickets are subject to availability and may be excluded for certain performances.
When booking tickets, please specify your access requirement, i.e. if you require a wheelchair space, an aisle seat, a seat close to the stage, level access, etc. It is not always possible to rectify booking details after a transaction has been completed.
Free Companion / Assistance Scheme
Cadogan Hall has a range of services to assist customers with access needs including a provision for wheelchair users in the stalls.
Customers who are members of our Access Scheme may be entitled to concessionary ticket prices or a free companion seat for some events. Please contact the Box Office for a form to register for Cadogan Hall’s Access Scheme or download the form here.
Please note that companion seats not sold 48 hours prior to any given performance will be released for general sale.
Level Access
Cadogan Hall has step free access to its Box Office and foyer areas. A door bell is located to the right of the main Box Office door for any patrons who require assistance. A lift is located to the right once inside the Box Office reception, allowing access to a lowered Box Office counter.
The Foyer Bar (Culford Room) and Stalls within the auditorium are accessed via a wide access lift, as are unisex accessible toilets, which are on all levels, except the Gallery. The main lift is located next to Door 3 of the Culford Room.
Gallery seats are only accessible via a staircase which consists of 62 steps. Customers with significant mobility problems are advised not to book Gallery seats.
Wheelchair Users
There are four wheelchair spaces in the Stalls at Cadogan Hall. If you use a wheelchair and wish to transfer to a seat, we regret we may not be able to provide a member of staff to help you physically. However, we will arrange for your wheelchair to be taken away and stored.
A lift is located to the right once inside the Box Office reception allowing access to a lowered Box Office counter. Foyer areas are on the same level as the Box Office, and the Foyer Bar (Caversham Room) is accessed via a wide access lift. A member of staff can help you with your requirements.
Stalls within the auditorium are via a wide access lift as are adapted toilet facilities.
Please call the Box Office on 020 7730 4500 to book wheelchair spaces and companion seats.
Customers with Hearing Requirements
The Box Office counter is fitted with a loop system to aid customers who use a hearing aid.
The auditorium is fitted with an infrared amplification system. If you wish to use your hearing aid, you will need to request one of our loop pendants and set your hearing aid to the ‘T’ position. If you do not use a hearing aid, please request an infrared headset instead.
Headsets and loop pendants can be collected from the Cloakroom before the start of the event. Please note a £5 deposit will be required. Please contact us beforehand or a member of staff on arrival should you have any queries about which system to use or any difficulties using them.
Customers with Sight Impairment
Guide dogs are welcome to access the Hall and auditorium but please do let us know prior to arriving at the Hall so we may make any special arrangements if necessary. ‘Touch / Familiarisation’ tours can be arranged, and we have a Unisex accessible toilet on all levels except the Gallery.
