The Theatre Royal Haymarket main entrance is situated on Haymarket. The entrance is 3 steps up from street level and through two sets of swing doors. Once inside the theatre foyer, the Box Office is situated on the right. An alternative step-free entrance is located through side doors at the front of the building and leads directly to the Stalls.
All sections of the theatre must be reached by stairs as there is no customer lift. Stairs are highlighted with handrails either side.
Those who wish to use the alternative step-free entrance must notify a member of staff on arrival, who will contact the Duty Manager to assist patrons to the accessible entrance. There is no access to the reception desk for wheelchair users, however staff are on hand to assist throughout the theatre.
Transfers are available to any aisle seat in the Stalls. Wheelchair users are recommended to bring a companion. Staff are able to store wheelchairs for the duration of the performance. An at-seat service is available for patrons who are unable to access the bars.
For those who require special assistance or wish to book wheelchair spaces, it is important to book in advance and notify the theatre of any special requirements. Access patrons and their companions are eligible for access rate discounts.
