The staff are regularly provided with basic training in disability awareness and etiquette, and are aware of the Disability Access policy and can assist with any queries regarding access.
Free parking is available at Reigate Road car park after 6pm, Monday to Saturday and all day on Sunday. Other Pay and Display car parks are located in Dorking, for more information visit the Mole Valley District Council website.
There are seats that can be accessed without the use of steps in all of the Halls. The venue provide 14 wheelchair spaces in the Grand Hall, four wheelchair spaces in the Martineau Hall and four wheelchair spaces in the Masonic Hall. Early booked is recommended. Dorking Halls would like everyone to enjoy all the services and facilities on offer and in order to further this commitment, have adopted the Essential Companion scheme. For the purposes of this policy, a person with 'disability' is understood, as defined by the Disability Discrimination Act (1995), as anyone who has a physical or mental impairment, which has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on their ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities.
The Essential Companion scheme allows members a free ticket so that they can bring along a companion with them at no additional cost.

Partially slighted or blind customers can sit anywhere, with or without a companion, but Dorking Halls recommends that customers whose vision is limited, making it difficult for them to leave the building in an emergency, should be accompanied.
Assistance Dogs are very welcome at Dorking Halls. When making a booking please inform the Box Office, so they can ensure adequate space, adjacent to an aisle is booked. If you would rather not take your Guide/Hearing Dog into the performance, please contact Front of House on 01306 879323 so a dog-sitter can be arranged.
Braille signage is located throughout the building.
Large print versions of the venue's brochure, or any other documents are available on request. The Grand Hall, Martineau and Masonic Halls are fitted with infra-red hearing induction loops. There are a limited number of headsets and neck loops available on the day, please visit the Box Office for details.
