The theatre is an accessible venue, for specific access requests including wheelchair bookings, headsets or general access information please call their access line service on 01892 554441. Messages are checked every day Monday to Friday and they will return your call.
The Front of House team are on hand to assist you with whatever you may need. There is also an access guide available here
GENERAL ACCESS NOTES
*There is a push-button door to the right of the main entrance to allow access for wheelchair users, entering at Box Office level.
*An accessible lift links the foyer, lower foyer and the auditorium (not the circle).
* There is an accessible toilet adjacent to the lower foyer bar.
* An in-seat drinks service is available in the interval.
* There is one disabled parking space directly outside the theatre, as well as ground floor parking in the Crescent Road car park.
CONCESSIONS/CARER COMP
The Assembly Hall Theatre will issue a free ticket to a customer requiring an essential carer.* This policy is for customers who use wheelchairs and those who are unable to independently move around and experience/access all areas and services within the theatre without direct help. Please note that there is only one carer ticket per person, any additional carer tickets required must be paid for at the standard price. To qualify for the carer's ticket, a full price or appropriate concession ticket must be purchased.

Signed Performances
The theatre arranges signed performances of selected shows. Details of these shows may be obtained upon request from the Box Office and will be included within the seasonal brochure and on the theatre’s website.
Audio Enhancement
The theatre is equipped with a Sennheiser infra-red audio enhancement system. Headsets are available from the Box Office, for a £5 refundable deposit.
Theatre Guide
The theatre guide will be made available in large print or audio format on request.
