Is social distancing and hygiene and safety measures in place at ZSL London Zoo?

There are 3 special and clearly sign-posted one way-routes through the Zoo, which will still mean you get to see all of the different and amazing animals at ZSL London Zoo.

To help with social distancing, keeper talks and animal experience will not be running. Walk-through exhibits will also be closed. As ZSL London Zoo continues to open up more of the zoo, there may be some areas in which you will need to wear a facemask - so don't forget to bring one for each member of the family with you!

Any areas where it is likely that queues could build up, like the entrance to  ZSL London Zoo will have clearly marked areas to help all guests maintain a 2m distance from one another.

There will be hand sanitiser and handwash stations at regular intervals throughout the zoo so that all guests can wash their hands frequently.

There are now physical barriers in place at a number of key points, where social distancing is harder to maintain, like their till points. All payments are now contactless only, including debit and credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Cash will not be accepted.
