Only 20 minutes from the M25 (junction 21), ZSL Whipsnade Zoo is signposted from the M1 (junction 9 and junction 12) and all major roads.
ZSL Whipsnade Zoo covers a large area, vehicles are permitted within the grounds at an additional cost. Please note ZSL Whipsnade Zoo is not a safari park.
When visiting ZSL Whipsnade Zoo by car there are two options:
You may park in our free external car park and walk around the zoo
You may drive into the zoo and park in specified areas around the zoo.

Parking prices from 10 February 2018 - 28 October 2018 inclusive
External parking - FREE
Car entry - non-member (Free external parking is available opposite entrance) - £25
Car entry - ZSL member (Free external parking is available opposite entrance) - £12.50
