Wheelchair users can access The Theatre through the Bar next to Front of House.&#xA0;We&#xA0;have four designated wheelchair spaces in the auditorium, each with a neighbouring pair of companion&#xA0;seats. Please note that a wheelchair space does not contain a seat, so anyone booking a wheelchair space will not be provided with a seat. The companion seats will be sold to the general public should the event be selling out. These currently must be booked via the theatre Box Office on 01608 642350. We have one disabled toilet located on the ground floor by the Bar.
All performances in our venues that have wheelchair seats available will feature the wheelchair icon, as shown above. Only the stalls have level access - there are no lifts in our period building, so the auditorium balcony, the gallery, the space and the rehearsal room can currently only be accessed via a staircase.
Our bar and both of our box offices have a lowered counter area for the benefit of wheelchair users. The daytime Box Office in Goddards Lane has flat access with a couple of small ridges.
<h4 class="text-chipping" id="blue-badge-parking">Blue Badge Parking</h4>
The Theatre is situated on Spring Street, a narrow residential road. Unfortunately, due to this there is very limited parking directly outside the building. There are disabled parking bays in the town centre&#xA0;car park, Albion Street car park and New Street car park, all of&#xA0;which are&#xA0;only a short distance away.
<h3 class="text-chipping" id="accessible-toilets">Accessible Toilets</h3>
There is an accessible&#xA0;toilet near the bar and stalls in the front of house area. This also contains baby change facilities including a potty. We recognise that this toilet is there for all who need it - not all disabilities are visible.&#xA0;
<h3 class="text-chipping" id="toddler-toilets">Toddler Toilets</h3>
We have toddler friendly toilet seats installed in our Front of House toilets. Simply lift the yellow lid for a toddler size seat, and the white lid for a adult sized seat. We also have a potty in the Disabled/Baby Changing toilet.
