The Theatre Café
Whether you're looking for breakfast to start the day, afternoon tea, or a pre-show meal, our Theatre Café serves delicious homemade food and a full range of barista made hot drinks.
Non-Performance Days: 9:30am - 3:30pm
Performance Days: 9:30am until after the interval of a performance
Includes Sandwich Toasties and Wraps, Jacket Potatoes, Gourmet Bloomer Toasties, Homemade Soup and freshly made Salads. We also offer a range of homemade cakes with favourites such as Victoria Sponge, Carrot Cake, Lemon Drizzle and Toffeelicious Cake.
Don't forget to check our board in the cafe for daily specials too.
When you come to see a matinee performance you can now enjoy a delicious afternoon tea before the show.
Tuck into a selection of mouth-watering home-made sandwiches, scones and indulgent cakes with a pot of tea or an Americano coffee, for just £20 for two people.
Afternoon Tea must be booked in advance and is served at 1pm on the day of a performance (minimum of two people).
Why not join us for a pre-theatre supper before the show?
For Autumn 2018, our new seasonal menu will include a range of pies from Derby favourite Owen Taylor, including chicken, leek & stilton and steak & ale, served with seasonal vegetables and potatoes.
Vegetarian and vegan options are also available on request.
Pre-Theatre supper is just £8.50 per person and must be booked in advance by the day before a performance.

Our upstairs theatre bars are open before and during the show - offering a range of drinks and speciality snacks. We serve a selection of ales, spirits and bottled beers as well as a diverse range of wines and soft drinks. Don't forget to pre-order your interval drinks when you arrive so that they're ready for you without the need to queue!
The Bar opens an hour before each performance and closes between 11pm and 11.30pm.
