Access Ticketing Scheme
We have made important changes to our access ticketing policy, launching a new ticketing scheme. We are inviting people to register now, for free.
The registration process allows you to tell us about any specific needs you have which will affect your booking and to apply for free* or discounted tickets should you need extra assistance during your visit. In exchange, we will be able to prioritise specific areas or seating according to your needs.
If you think you, or someone you care for, may qualify for tickets under our new scheme we would encourage you to register by either downloading the form from our website, or requesting a form by post or email via the Ticket Office. Please note that even if you have had discounted tickets in the past, you will need to register under the terms of the new scheme to qualify for discounts.
The access scheme has been developed in consultation with local charitable organisations and other venues around the UK.
By taking a few minutes to tell us about your specific requirements, our staff and volunteers can ensure that your tickets and seating are taken care of, leaving you free to relax and enjoy the show.
Click here to download an application form or for more information please call the Ticket Office on 01536 470470 or email access@thecorecorby.com.
*Proof of eligibility will be required, see application form for details. From 4 September 2017, these tickets can only be allocated upon completion of a registration form.
Access Performances
We offer a number of Signed, Audio Described and Relaxed performances where available.
Signed performances: The show is interpreted in sign language by someone standing to the side of the stage.
Audio described performances: You will receive a Sennheiser Infra-red Enhanced Hearing System, which has two options. You can choose to hear an enhance version of the sound onstage or you can hear the show visually described, for example, the appearance of the set and the actions of the characters. This hearing system is available from the Ticket Office. To ensure that you purchase tickets in seats with optimum coverage, please check with Ticket Office at time of booking.
Relaxed performances: This is a specially adapted performance for customers with a wide range of disabilities and for those on the autistic spectrum. There may be some small changes to the show in terms of lighting and sound but the overall content does not change. There is also a more relaxed atmosphere in the auditorium to reduce anxiety and ensure an enjoyable visit.

Assistance dogs are welcome throughout The Core and water can be provided. Please advise the Ticket Office when booking so that adequate provision can be made.
