The town is well served by bus routes to and from local cities, towns and villages. The main bus stops are located on the market place in Higher Buxton, a five minute walk from the theatre.
High Peak Buses operate local bus services from Glossop, Stockport, Ashbourne, Derby, Manchester and Sheffield. There are 24 cycle storage stands at the railway station. There are also 9 bikes available to hire for just £3.80 per day through www.bikeandgo.co.uk When the ticket office is closed please return your key to the drop box at the Bike shelter in the station.
