ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION
The Grand Theatre, Blackpool aims to be accessible and welcoming to all and we are committed to making your visit as easy and enjoyable as possible.
Seating and Washrooms
Stalls seats have level access from Corporation Street and Matcham’s Bar. There are nine spaces for wheelchair users at every performance. If you have a larger or motorized chair, please inform our Box Office staff at time of booking so that we can accommodate you in comfort and safety. There is a wheelchair-accessible toilet at the rear of the Stalls.
The STUDIO is fully accessible to wheelchair users and access patrons via a lift from Matcham Court. There is also an accessible washroom.
Access Services
Audio description, is offered on demand wherever possible. Look out for our audio described logo on our shows.
Registered Assistance Dogs
Registered assistance dogs are welcome. Please inform the Box Office of requirements at time of booking.
Audio Described Performances & Touch Tours
Available at certain shows as advertised in our brochure and on our website. Headsets are available for groups without a deposit. They are handed out and gathered in by a member of our team. If you are using the service as an individual then please pay a deposit of Ł5. Please contact the Box Office for further details.
Access for Hearing Impaired
The Grand Theatre, Blackpool has an Induction Loop. Ask for information when making your booking, or one of our staff prior to the performance. Some performances are BSL Sign Language Interpreted and are advertised in our brochure and on our website.
Wheelchair Users
We can accommodate up to nine wheelchair users in our Stalls. If you are Registered Disabled and cannot attend the performance without a companion we will offer a complimentary ticket for your companion.
