The Edinburgh Playhouse is situated on Greenside Place, at the top of Leith Walk and close to the east end of Princes Street.

Train 

Edinburgh is easily accessible by train and has two stations, Edinburgh Waverley station is one of the biggest in the UK and services London Kings Cross as well as the rest of the South. Trains from Glasgow also terminate here. It is operated by First ScotRail.

Plane

Edinburgh Airport is Scotland’s busiest airports and handles close to 10 million passengers a year. Regular buses shuttle from the airport into the bus station terminus.

Park and Ride 

In order to ease traffic congestion, park and ride is also available at six locations: Sheriffhall, Ingliston, Riccarton, Inverkeithing, Newcraighall and Straiton.

Bus 

The city is serviced by Lothian Buses who operate services around the city and towards the suburbs. Most routes run along Princes Street, which the theatre is situated on.
